Installing the Microsoft .NET Framework through Active Sync

The CMS Software requires the 2.0 Version of the Microsoft .NET Compact Framework.

The link to begin installing is at the bottom of this page, the boxes in between here and there are what you can expect to see during installation. If you don't need to look through the answers to give, click here to begin installing immediately.

To begin installation with the Active Sync method, ActiveSync must be installed and your device connected. A screen like the one below should have appeared when the device connected.

There will be several dialog boxes that come up with security warnings, essentially by viewing this website, Internet Explorer thinks you are downloading files from the Internet, when they are actually just coming from this website.

There will be several dialog boxes to confirm installation options, and the end result will be that the proper version of the framework will automatically be installed on your device.

Click RUN on this box.

There will be several boxes like this and you can click next on each of them.

In this case it was already installed, but I still clicked Yes.

It is now going to install on the Mobile Device. Click Yes.

Click Ok, and look at your Mobile Device.

After this step installation of the .NET Framework is complete. Active8

When you are ready to begin, Click here to Install Version 2.0 Service Pack 2, which is the most current version as of May 15, 2007.
