The Researcher model features swing-away probes that accommodate P.E.T.G. sleeves. These sleeves preserve the sample and reduce carryover contaminants between samples.

The swing-away probe allows you to remove the sleeve without removing the probe.

Swing Away Probe
When sampling protocols require a 0 to 6-inch (0-15 cm) sample, then a 6 to 48-inch (15-120cm) core, simply attach this probe unit to your researcher sampler. This will case the hole while retrieving a 6-inch (15 cm) sample, at the same time eliminating the potential for contamination from surrounding soils.
